1. Who places these trackers
The trackers described below are placed by Battal Fatih (sole proprietorship, trading name DataCore, SIREN 934 166 174), publisher of VeriFixScan, or by technical service providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service.
Here, the term “trackers” refers to cookies as well as equivalent technologies stored in your browser, such as local storage (localStorage) and session storage.
2. Strictly necessary trackers
These trackers are essential for the operation of the service and do not require your consent.
- Authentication session — placed by our authentication provider (Supabase) when you sign in, including through Google. It stores your session token and refresh token to keep you signed in. It is stored in your browser (local storage and/or session cookie) and renewed while the session remains active.
- Maintenance bypass cookie — placed only for authorized administrators when maintenance mode is enabled, allowing them to access the service. It contains a signed value, no directly exploitable personal data, and is never placed for ordinary visitors.
- Abuse prevention — when using a free scan without an account, a technical identifier derived from your IP address is processed on the server to enforce usage limits. This is not a tracker stored in your browser, but it is mentioned here for transparency.
- Payment — when you are redirected to Stripe's payment page, Stripe may place its own cookies that are necessary for security and fraud prevention, on its own domain and under its own responsibility.
3. Preference trackers (functional)
These elements are stored in your browser's local storage to remember your interface preferences. They do not contain advertising identifiers and do not allow you to be tracked across other websites.
- Language — remembers your selected display language.
- Theme — remembers your light or dark appearance preference.
- Sidebar state — remembers whether the dashboard menu is collapsed or expanded.
4. Audience measurement and conversion measurement
VeriFixScan may use audience measurement and conversion measurement tools to understand how the service is used, improve its operation, and measure the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns.
Google Analytics 4 may be used to measure audience and analyze how the website is used. Where consent is required for the tools or configurations used, these trackers are only activated after you have given your consent.
Google Ads may be used to measure conversions originating from advertising campaigns, including sign-ups and subscriptions. Trackers used for this purpose are only activated after your consent where consent is required.
These tools may process information relating to your browsing activity, your interactions with the website and, in the context of advertising campaigns, the source of your visit. Detailed information about the processing of personal data and the recipients concerned is provided in our Privacy Policy.
5. Consent banner and consent management
When trackers requiring your consent are used, a consent banner allows you to choose whether to accept or refuse them before they are activated.
You can also change or withdraw your consent at any time with the same level of ease. Refusing non-essential trackers does not prevent access to the essential features of VeriFixScan.
Strictly necessary trackers required for the operation of the service, as well as certain preference trackers, may be used without consent where an applicable exemption applies.
6. Managing or deleting these trackers
You can change or withdraw your consent to non-essential trackers at any time using the consent management mechanism available on VeriFixScan. You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings or by clearing the website's stored data.
Deleting authentication trackers will sign you out, while deleting preference trackers will reset settings such as your language, theme, and interface preferences.
