Terms of Use

1. Publisher and Purpose

The VeriFixScan service is operated by Battal Fatih, an individual entrepreneur (EI), trading name DataCore, SIREN 934 166 174, Strasbourg, France, email contact@verifixscan.com.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) define the rules governing access to and use of the service. Using VeriFixScan, with or without an account, constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

VeriFixScan is an online automated website analysis service. It crawls accessible pages of a website, performs a series of technical checks (security, DNS and email, performance, SEO, content, links, mobile, accessibility, user experience, infrastructure depending on the plan), calculates scores, detects issues, and generates reports with recommendations. Artificial intelligence features may explain an issue, prioritize fixes, summarize a report, and answer your questions.

3. Access to the Service

The service is accessible online and requires no installation. A free demonstration scan (“Free Scan”) may be offered without an account, in a limited version subject to anti-abuse restrictions (number of pages, waiting period between scans, rate limiting). Its availability may be disabled or modified at any time.

Full audits, history, detailed reports, and AI features require the creation of an account.

4. User Account

You may create an account using an email address and password, or through Google Sign-In. The information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out through your account. In the event of unauthorized use, notify us without delay and change your password through your account settings.

You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Deletion is permanent.

5. Analyzed Websites

You must have the necessary rights or authorizations to request an analysis of a website where required. You remain solely responsible for the URLs you submit.

VeriFixScan performs requests comparable to those made by a browser or indexing crawler and does not perform any intrusion, vulnerability exploitation testing, authentication attempts, or modifications to the analyzed website. The analysis may generate a volume of requests; if you do not control the website, make sure that such activity is permitted.

6. Audits, Reports, and AI Features

Scans, scores, recommendations, and reports are provided for informational and analytical assistance purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee of the security, compliance, legal compliance, search engine optimization, performance, or accessibility of a website.

VeriFixScan is neither a certification body, nor a regulatory audit service, nor a legal advisory service. No result constitutes a certification, attestation, or official label.

AI features rely on models provided by third-party providers and generate automated content. Such content may contain errors or inaccuracies and must be reviewed before being implemented.

7. AI Credits and Plan Limits

AI features consume “AI Credits.” Depending on your plan, a monthly quota may be included; credit packs may also be purchased separately. When the available balance is exhausted, AI features become unavailable until the quota renews or additional credits are purchased.

Each plan defines limits, including the number of websites, scans per month, pages per scan, history retention period, enabled analysis categories, and available features. These limits are enforced server-side and can be viewed on the Pricing page. Financial terms are set out in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

8. Prohibited Use

• use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes or in a manner that infringes the rights of third parties;
• analyze a website without having the required rights or authorizations;
• attempt to circumvent quotas, plan limits, billing mechanisms, rate limits, or security protections;
• disrupt the service, intentionally overload it, automate its use beyond the intended limits, or extract data from it on a massive scale;
• share your credentials or resell access to the service outside the plans specifically provided for this purpose;
• use the service to prepare an attack against or cause harm to an information system.

In the event of a breach, abuse, or risk to the service, an account may be restricted, suspended, or deleted, where appropriate without prior notice when the seriousness of the situation justifies it.

9. Availability and Maintenance

We use reasonable efforts to ensure the availability of the service, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable, particularly for maintenance, updates, security fixes, or due to an incident affecting a technical provider. Maintenance mode may be enabled during such operations.

Features may evolve and may be added, modified, or removed.

10. Intellectual Property

The VeriFixScan name, logo, interface, texts, analysis engine, and proprietary content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction, modification, or exploitation is prohibited.

You retain ownership of your content and websites. You are granted a right to use the generated reports for your own professional needs or those of your clients, within the limits of your plan.

11. Liability

You remain solely responsible for decisions made and modifications carried out based on the results, recommendations, or reports provided by VeriFixScan, as well as for making appropriate backups of your websites beforehand.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of revenue. Where the publisher’s liability is established, it shall be limited to the amounts actually paid by the user for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumers’ statutory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and the trackers used are described in the Cookie Policy.

13. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be modified, particularly in the event of changes to the service or applicable legal requirements. The applicable version is the version published on this page, with the date of the last update indicated at the top of the document.

14. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by French law. In the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be determined in accordance with the applicable rules of ordinary jurisdiction; consumers may bring proceedings before the court of the place where they reside.
